Ideal for short-stop visits because the service is prompt and efficient and there are abundant tables and chairs around. You stand in a fast-moving queue and are directed to an assistant. The coffee, as per usual at Costa is hot, of good quality and the food reasonable although the cakes are rather sweet. This certainly applied to the Bakewell Tart. So, nothing special and perhaps just what you might anticipate from a motorway service area.
